4.3. Practical operation process

- At the waiting table, the steel coil is passed through the discharge unit and flattening unit to achieve the highest quality sheet metal surface.
- Then, the sheet is fed into the dual-head laser cutting chamber where SMARLINEiQ software applies Nesting technology to optimize product layout on the sheet, saving material.
- After programming, the laser cutting machine automatically cuts the details on the metal sheet according to the required quantity and shape.
- When the cutting process is complete, SMARLINEiQ software remembers the 3D coordinates of each product.
- The sheet is removed from the cutting chamber, and the Gantry system sorts it. Place the product in two positions, conveyor, and waiting table.
- From the waiting table, AGV transports the details to other production stations. As for the products on the conveyor, they continue to move to the machines according to the line layout, starting from the stamping machine station.
- At the stamping stage, the robot running on the rail will pick the product from the conveyor, place it on the inclined jig to position the angle, then place it into the stamping machine for processing. If the product requires multiple stamping steps, the robot will transfer the sheet between stamping machines before moving to the next stage.

- Next, the sheet is transferred to the folding machine for shaping, ensuring the finished product with high accuracy and stable temperature.
- After the folding stage, the product is routed in two processing directions. For completed details, the picking robot will directly place the product on the finished product pallet for storage or move to the next stage in the production chain. Conversely, for details that still require further processing, the robot will pick and transfer to the bending stage.
There are two options for the bending step.
- Method 1: The picking robot acts as a dedicated bending robot, directly manipulating the sheet to complete the product.
- Method 2: Manual option, AGV transports the sheet from the laser station to the manual bending station, where workers handle the bending process according to technical requirements.
The above line operates sequentially from the beginning to the end of the production process. The solution can flexibly adjust stages and equipment according to the product's technical requirements.
