Main Features

BRUCO V-0820A Automatic Beam Tack and Welding Line is an intelligent vertical welding station that integrates tack – weld – straighten beam wings in one device. Featuring tandem MIG welding technology under flux, laser path sensing, the V-0820A helps create beautiful, stable, precise welds and is easy to operate. The equipment is optimized for large-scale steel structure production, saving space and labor. 

2. Equipment Configuration

2.1. Beam Turning System V-0820-A.RT

  • Includes 5 independent hydraulic turning arms, maximum load per unit: 7500 kg

  • Beam turning angle 0–90° using hydraulic valve + mechanical limit

  • Each unit can operate independently or synchronously, allowing flexible welding angles

  • Controlled via wireless handle, connected to central electrical cabinet

  • Main hydraulic valve: YUKEN / REXROTH – origin Japan / Germany

  • Hydraulic cylinder and power station

  • Turning frame

2.2. Multi-functional Vertical Beam Assembly Machine V-0820A

  • Integrates functions of wing erection – belly pressing – welding – straightening in one machine unit

  • Smart welding head using Keyence laser sensor (Japan), automatically detects weld profile

  • Welding head moves in X and Y directions by servo motor and ball screw, ensuring high accuracy and speed

  • Central control system using Keyence CPU, Vietnamese touch screen interface

  • Press – erect – straighten mechanism uses hydraulic cylinder, combined with proximity sensor and automatic pneumatic system

  • Wire feeder with encoder

  • Automatic flux dispensing and suction system

3.1. The device features 3 integrated functions: Tack – Weld – Straighten in one machine

V-0820A is a vertical welding station fully integrated with Fly Tack – submerged arc welding – beam wing straightening functions, helping to:

  • Save workshop space by eliminating the need for three separate machines

  • Optimize production process, reduce intermediate steps, save time

  • Increase uniformity of beam quality, as the entire cycle is performed by one machine

Integrated technology:

  • Fly Tack: Continuous tack, high speed, no need to stop the axis

  • SAW welding with precise laser path sensing

  • Beam wing straightening after welding with a powerful hydraulic system

3.2. Intelligent welding head – precise and flexible

  • Keyence laser sensor positions the weld path in real-time, no need for a guide wheel

  • Welding head controlled in X and Y axes by servo and ball screw – ensures high accuracy

  • Tandem MIG technology under flux – developed by BRUCO, provides high welding speed and beautiful welds

  • Wire feeder with integrated encoder ensures stable welding current

3.3. Fully automated clamping – welding – straightening process

  • Automatically erects wings, presses belly, straightens wings after welding, and supports beams

  • Automatic flux dispensing and suction system with electric cylinder, reduces manual operations, ensures cleanliness of the welding area

3.4. Modern control interface – easy to use

  • Vietnamese HMI touch screen

  • Pre-integrated optimal welding parameter library for each type of beam and material – easy to select, reduces errors

  • Operators do not need high welding experience – can master after 2 days of training

3.5. Intelligent production management and monitoring

  • Control system FSC_01 has functions:

  • Records the entire operation process (machine start, welding time, user)

  • Timekeeping, performance evaluation of personnel

  • Internet connection, sends data to server, supports centralized management – prepares for smart factory

3.6. Stable arc quality

V-0820-A is supplemented with two mass contact units directly on the beam wings, thereby increasing stability during welding and improving weld quality
