1. General Introduction
Automatic Beam Tack and Welding Line V-0820B (post-welding station) has the capability to tack – weld – straighten on the same machine body, saving production space, suitable upright welding station, versatile with various material thickness ranges, meeting diverse production needs and ensuring product uniformity. The welding station is equipped with advanced technologies:
- Fly Tack (continuous tacking, high-speed tacking).
- Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) and laser seam tracking technology (laser sensor, following the welding position).
- Straightening the beam flange after welding.
2. Equipment Configuration
2.1. Beam Turning System V-0820-B.RT
Includes 5 turning arm clusters holding the workpiece with electromagnets, maximum load 11 tons.
Angle turning mechanism 0–90°, controlled by synchronized hydraulic valves, with mechanical limits and travel switches for precise tilt angle.
Each turning arm cluster operates independently or synchronously, allowing flexible beam rotation according to welding requirements.
Control cabinet connected wirelessly, synchronized with conveyor position and production process.
Turning frame manufactured by BRUCO; hydraulic cylinders and power station use equipment from Viet Ha – Thai Son, hydraulic valves Yuken/Rexroth.

2.2. Multi-functional Vertical Beam Assembly Machine V-0820B
Fully integrates 3 functions: tack – weld – straighten, operating on the same machine body.
Uses Fly Tack technology, enabling high-speed tacking without stopping the axis.
Submerged Arc Welding SAW combined with laser seam tracking sensor (Keyence, Japan), ensuring high precision in following the welding position.
Smart welding head moves on 2 X–Y axes using servo motor + ball screw, driven by ball slide rail.
The system for clamping – erecting – pressing – straightening the beam is fully automated by hydraulics and pneumatics.
Wire feeder integrated with encoder for precise speed control, ensuring stable welding current.
Control interface HMI touch screen in Vietnamese, easy to operate, with a pre-set welding data library.
Monitoring device for operation time, welding parameters, user efficiency, can connect to the Internet with the central server.

Technology Tandem MIG under flux, stably controlled by a wire feeder with precise encoder
Ensuring the weld is beautiful, deeply penetrated, minimizing errors due to beam profile deviation
3.3. Fully Automating the Clamping – Welding – Straightening Process
Erecting flange – clamping web – pressing – straightening – supporting beam are all automatically operated by hydraulics and pneumatics
Automatic flux spreading and suction by pneumatic cylinder, saving time and keeping the welding area clean
Reducing dependence on manual operations, shortening the transition time between different beam types

HMI touch screen in Vietnamese, intuitive, easy to operate
Pre-set welding parameter library, supporting operators to quickly select the appropriate program according to the design drawing

FSC_01 controller records the entire operation process: machine start-up, welding time, user information
