WELDCOM AT METAL & WELD VIETNAM 2026: Trends in automation & smart factory management

From May 14–16, 2026, at the Metal & Weld Vietnam 2026 Exhibition, held at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace, Hanoi, Weldcom will participate at booth A225–229 & 246–250 with a series of modern metal processing solutions, while also recreating a smart factory model right in the exhibition space.

At the Weldcom booth, visitors will directly witness the simultaneous operation of devices, real-time production data display, and the entire system connected and coordinated through the smart factory management software WMMS developed by Weldcom. The highlight of this year's exhibition is the appearance of many advanced equipment and technology solutions introduced by Weldcom for the first time, directly demoed to customers.

• T he 7-axis submerged arc welding SAW robot station offers the ability to automatically recognize workpieces, automatically create welding programs without manual teaching, ensuring complete, stable, and spatter-free welds.
• Tandem ICE ESAB welding technology is introduced as a solution to enhance SAW welding productivity, with the ability to significantly increase productivity, reduce power consumption and consumables by up to 40%, and effectively control thermal deformation during the welding of large components.
• The welding cobot ecosystem from leading brands such as Jasic, Megmeet, Aubo Robotics, Rokae Robotics. With drag-and-drop programming capability, quick deployment, and cost-effective investment, cobots open up a more practical approach to automation for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.
• T he Jasic laser welding machine with air cooling will also be introduced at the booth, featuring a compact, mobile design, high efficiency, suitable for flexible processing applications in workshops.

Within the framework of the exhibition, Weldcom organizes the international seminar “Digitalization solutions for welding processes for manufacturing enterprises with WMMS”. The program addresses the operational challenges that businesses face, from equipment, personnel, and process control to production management through data. Weldcom experts will directly analyze how technology is deployed in practice, helping businesses gain a clearer perspective on the factory transformation roadmap.
